India's 5th Test with Australia

Racial charge issue against harbajan has throw out many things to ponder. Harbajan should have admitted usage of abusive language and should have apologized then and there in Sydney. He should have then challenged the claim of Australians that he has used racial remark and should have used all means to disprove it. Accepting whatever mistake we have done and apologizing for it is not shameful as the mistake itself.

BCCI also should not have threatened (even though indirectly) of withdrawing from ODI as there was mistake on part of Harbajan too. If the court has gone against the proof presented by BCCI and had uphold the racial abuse charge then BCCI could have felt injustice has been done. Any allegation should have been settled in the court of law, not by threat of withdrawal from tour (Money Power) etc.

Equally it is not correct that Australia claimed of racial charge without verifying or producing a solid proof. The act which has provoked harbajan should also need to be looked at.

Hope Harbajan, Australian Team, Umpires, BCCI all will behave and act responsibly and to the true spirit of the game.
